The RUPES D-A Coarse 160mm wool pad is a cutting option for heavier paint defects on a dual-action polisher. Its firm blue foam support transfers the machine movement into the working surface, making it a useful first step before fine polishing.

Key Benefits:

  • Coarse wool face targets heavier defects
  • Firm foam support helps maintain cutting response
  • Designed for random-orbital and gear-driven machines

Goes Great With:

Build a matched setup with RUPES D-A Coarse Compound 1000mL, RUPES D-A Fine Polishing Compound 1000mL, RUPES BigFoot Claw Pad Tool. Check the pad size and tool compatibility before use.

How to Use:

  • Wash and decontaminate the surface, then inspect the paint before correction.
  • With the machine disconnected, center the pad on a clean, compatible backing plate.
  • Test the pad and polish on a small area before working in controlled, overlapping passes.
  • Clean the pad frequently, inspect temperature and finish, and rotate to a clean pad when needed.
  • Let the machine stop before removal. Clean and dry the pad according to the manufacturer guidance before storage.
