FAQ

Does HERO leave ceramic protection behind because it contains SiO2?

No. Armour describes HERO's silica component as part of its lubrication system. It does not add a durable protective layer, so it can clean vehicles that already have wax, sealant or a ceramic coating. Choose a separate protection product when that is the goal.

How much HERO do I put in a rinseless wash bucket?

Use 1 fl oz in 2 US gallons of water for rinseless washing, pre-soaking or interior cleaning. Armour lists water:product ratios of 256:1 for those uses, 128:1 for clay lubrication, and 64:1 for waterless washing or a drying aid. The HERO listing keeps the ratios beside the application steps.

Can I wipe a heavily dirty car with HERO without rinsing first?

Inspect the paint before touching it. Armour warns against using HERO on excessively dirty vehicles and recommends pre-rinsing when needed. Remove substantial grit first, then work top-down with clean wash media and dry each section.

How do I get a satin finish rather than a glossy finish with GHOST?

Start with one even application on thoroughly cleaned, completely dry tire sidewalls. For more gloss, Armour recommends 2–3 layers roughly 10 minutes apart. Let GHOST dry fully before driving and wait at least one hour before exposing it to water.

Does GHOST really last three months, and what preparation does it need?

Armour's claim is up to three months with proper preparation and application, not a guaranteed interval. Scrub away browning and remove remaining old dressing, then let the tire dry completely. Apply GHOST Tire Sealant with an applicator and rinse the applicator after use before the product cures.
