Full Description

The pad is what turns machine movement into paint correction results. EdgeGuard Foam Pads is a machine polishing pad for cutting, polishing, finishing, or refining paint depending on the selected size, material, and aggressiveness.

Use it with the right compound or polish after a test spot so the pad, liquid, machine, and paint all work together.

Key Benefits:

  • Supports paint correction and polishing workflows
  • Available pad styles cover cutting, polishing, and finishing needs
  • Pairs with compounds, polishes, and panel prep products
  • Useful for orbital polishing workflows when matched to pad size and machine
  • Helps tune correction level without changing the entire process

How to Use:

  1. Wash and decontaminate the vehicle before machine polishing.
  2. Choose pad size and aggressiveness based on a test spot.
  3. Prime or load the pad with the correct amount of compound or polish.
  4. Work a controlled section with overlapping passes.
  5. Clean the pad frequently during the job.
  6. Inspect results before moving to a more aggressive combination.

Best Used For:

  • Paint correction
  • Compounding and polishing
  • Test spot tuning
